December is always a hectic month: it holds my birthday, Christmas, winter solstice, Lucas's family is in town for an extended period, my dad's birthday, travel, and the transition to a new year. It is a month where gratitude rises to the surface as family gathers in communion, gifts are both given and received in the spirit of love and abundance, the kitchen is a mess and tables are filled with nourishment for the body and soul. There is much to find gratitude for, yet the chaos of the month often leads us to neglect taking the time for intentional thankfulness.
As the new month begins, I invite you to find a quiet moment and write down what you're grateful for in this moment.
my december gratitude log:
- crisp mountain air and afternoon hikes
- making room for tenderness
- new moon birthday celebrations
- holding really gently
- a commitment to leave a smaller footprint on the soul of this earth
- communion with family
- fierce inner knowing
- the awakening
- the humbling
- the softening
- the blooming
With a heart of abundance and presence,
morgan rae xx
